Inhouse Training

Annual training workshops are held on an all-India basis. The following are the objectives of these workshops:

• To summarize the performance of the previous year.
  
• To have a platform where knowledge can be shared.
  
• Formulating strategies for the next year.

With the insight gained during these workshops, the employees go back highly motivated to perform to their highest potential.

External Training

The following External Training Programs were organized for employees of Usha International:

• Employees with potential for managing key positions are sponsored for External Training Programs.
• A program, especially developed for the Frontline Sales personnel on an all-India basis, "Winning Edge" aims at developing soft skills to make selling more effective.
• A “Managerial Effectiveness” program for all the Managers on all India basis is underway with a very specific focus on enhancing soft skills to develop and manage their teams effectively.

UIL this year proposes to spend at least Rs. 1 crore towards training and development of human resources to enhance competency and efficiency to foster leadership qualities.
